Character Creation



  1. Roll for your Character's Passions. The Passions are Proportion, Beauty, Sublime, and Pathos. These are the four bonuses a character can add to many d20 Checks throughout the game.
  2. Roll for your character's Birth Signs. You should begin the game with a Star Sign, a Sun Sign, and a Moon Sign.
  3. Choose your Character's Allegiance. You can be loyal to Law, an agent of Chaos, or a judge of Neutrality, also called the Balance.
  4. Choose or roll your Character's Languages. Try to make sure every member of your party shares at least one Language with another character.
  5. Choose your Character's Prowess You begin the game at Level One, with 0 Experience.
  6. Determine your starting Health by rolling your Character's Will.
  7. You have 110 Gold Pieces to purchase your Character's starting Equipment.
  8. Write down your Character's name, and think about their personality, motivations, and backstory as you play them.
